Knowing more fully that God is the only One that can satisfy my heart, and more and more He is the One that I want! Growing deeper in my walk and want to know God in a deeper way. bah! Words just can't express. Jesus You alone shall be my first love. Another year where Jesus is my Valentine haha.
This verse has become my verse for this month!
"...the LORD has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him leader of his people..." 1 Samuel 13:14
I want to be a man after God's own heart. Keeping my eyes fixed on Him, not turning to the right nor to the left in my pursuit of capturing His heart as He has captured mine.
Life is not perfect, and there are many things I am keeping in prayer before God...but still...the fact that I have this relationship with God...nothing can dampen that joy or put out that fire. I'm rambling, but God is so SWEET! =] If you guys are going through a dry period, seek God. BAH! I really cannot articulate myself with words lately. I can only express my heart in praise and prayer as of late. I am learning through preparing small groups and my devotion times what it means to give yourself WHOLLY to God. When you give yourself WHOLLY is when you become HOLY (set apart).
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, let's do as God's word instructs us. Let us throw off the sin that so easily entangles us from running an effective race, and let us run with our eyes fixed on the prize! But some of us are struggling with sin in our lives. If you can't even pray or spend time in God's presence, then come and join us tonight and let us pray over you. If you want to draw near to God, but feel like there is such a large distance that you cannot cross...then come tonight and I know that God will come and meet you where you are. I was blessed with my devotion, but I can't wait to gather as a body of Christ to just love on JESUS!
